SOLIDWORKS Plastics simulates the injection-moulding process inside SOLIDWORKS so designers and mould makers can predict how molten plastic fills a cavity before a tool is cut. It analyses fill, pack, cooling and warpage to reveal defects such as short shots, weld lines, air traps and sink marks, and is offered in Standard, Professional and Premium editions.
