DELMIA Shop Floor Programmer
DELMIA Shop Floor Programmer lets machinists create, edit and optimise NC programs close to the machine using associative CAD/CAM. It shortens the path from design change to cutting metal.
Overview
DELMIA Shop Floor Programmer is a CAD/CAM solution for creating and verifying CNC NC programs directly on the SOLIDWORKS 3D model, close to the point of production. Toolpaths stay associative to the part, so design revisions can be re-applied rather than reprogrammed, and material removal can be simulated before output to cut trial cuts and scrap.
Associative CAD/CAM
Toolpaths stay linked to the model, so edits re-apply not re-program.
Milling, Turning & Mill-turn
2.5–3-axis milling, turning and mill-turn on one part.
Tool & Cutting Libraries
Shared tools, holders and feeds/speeds for repeatable data.
Post-processing to G-code
Configurable posts output machine-specific NC code.
Explore capabilities
Associative CAD/CAM
Toolpaths stay linked to the 3D model, so geometry changes propagate to existing operations instead of a full re-program.
Milling, turning & mill-turn
Support 2.5-axis and 3-axis milling, turning and combined mill-turn on a single part model.
Toolpath simulation
Simulate material removal and tool motion to catch gouges, uncut stock and collisions before the machine.
Feature & knowledge automation
Recognise machinable features and apply reusable strategies, tooling and standards for consistent programming.
Tool & cutting libraries
Maintain shared libraries of tools, holders and feeds/speeds for repeatable, validated machining data.
Post-processing to G-code
Configurable post processors output machine-specific NC code for the controllers on your floor.
