The Inside Sales person will focus on customer acquisition. This position involves cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person. Work with client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue. We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

Inside Sales Job Duties

  • Making Cold calling, multiple calls to potential clients to meet their needs
  • Developing relationships with potential clients
  • Maintaining good relationships with existing clients
  • Developing and analyzing data to determine how to better accommodate new and existing customers
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
  • Performing research on accounts to help increase interest in the organization
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • To support the sales team to build pipeline.
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Working with sales team to achieve the targets.
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.

Inside Sales Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Ability to do make cold calls and outbound /Inbound calls follow up to generate new clients
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Ability to do multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred
